The “Living for Zachary Heart Screening” is a special screening program for youth ages 12-22 that can help detect heart abnormalities that may lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

This noninvasive screening package includes:

  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Echocardiogram
  • Blood pressure test

Living for Zachary was founded in honor of Zachary Schrah, who was only 16 years old when he collapsed during a high school football practice in Plano in April 2, 2009. There was no warning. There were no signs. After Zachary’s death, Living for Zachary, non-profit organization, was established to raise awareness of SCA in youth.

QUALITY: Each test will be read by a board-certified cardiologist.
